if someone was wondering where the St. Pauls' uniform comes from...well. truth is The Thin White Duke, our unfortuately late David Bowie, in one of his 70s versions, went probably so far as inspiring even japanese illustrators...I'm not surprised. He inspired the whole artistic world.

This was an illustration made by a fan of his 70s costumes and you can spot the St.Paul's uniform...which is basically one of the Thin White Duke disguises...

Not sure how much Bowie was important in your own culture. In Great Britain and Europe, and probably in the States too he's considered like the American Elvis, and the most incredible, innovative, exponential modern artist who inspired everyone alive in the modern music and artistic landscape.

He lived in New York until his recent death last January who shocked the world. He's English. And he's our bevoled Thin White Duke. He loved books. he was dubbed, The Man who Loved Books, too. And was a 360° artist, actor, musician, painter.

Terence Granchester must have inherited something from him. smile.gif i see quite a lot of similarities.

Hi girls.

I was wondering if you could give me some idea or lend me a hand for a bit of brainstorming. I'm quite passionate about SEO and internet marketing and it is my idea to set a professional blog. I'd need a bit of brainstorming as my mind is blocked at the moment.

My initial idea was to set a blog about London/UK targeted to Italians, with the idead of monetizing through affiliation but there are quite a few around and competition may be quite strong.

The second idea would be to set up a blog in English about Venice in English, still I'm not sure about that.

Any ideas for a niche blog?

This is a subject which I've seen discussed lots on the internet and I would be curious to see how things are in your own countries.

What's the key of success in life in your country? How much good looks help to increase or decrease people’s chances?

I read different American articles stating that beautiful people have statistically more chances of success than plain people. They are said to be likely to have more success in love (and get higher salaries at work than plain people) and have more chances than the others to settle down well, women especially.

Looking around I can see some examples which would support this rule also in my reality were girls who are beautiful and with more sex appeal had more suitors consequentially some found a rich partner and are leading an easy and perfect life, in a big house, with a big dog and everything they can wish for without too much effort. Beautiful women and handsome men with average intellectual capabilities could land beautiful jobs than men and women equally intelligent or qualified. Plain men and women have to work much harder to reach the same objectives.

Then there is the other side of the coin:

I see plain women/men who drop one partner and next day they have a brand new one while others stay single forever. I even read an article that this may be due for genetic reasons.

What are your thoughts?

If beauty equals success as they say, it's quite a depressing reality for plain people..
