I didn't find the book topic, is there one? Anyway, I'm currently reading Almost Transparent Blue by Ryū Murakami

It's a bit raunchy so probably not everybody cup of tea but the descriptives parts are really good.

You know when we wonder if there is too much, enough or not enough description and if they are necessary or too heavy to the story, well they are perfect in that book (according to me of course). I don't know how to explain it, but it makes you feel the scene...like if a character is in an open market (for instance) I want to hear the noise and smell the food and feel the air and the ground.

In that story, nothing really happens, it's just bunch of kids indulging themselves in drugs and sex but you can see the whole picture and tiny details at the same time, along with the "between the lines" Miracolo likes so much wink.gif

I'm reading it in French so maybe so parts gained in the translation (I dunno)

There was a scene about a rainy day that I liked but I can't find it online...

Too bad,

I won't describe you the sex scenes because they were not as good, at some times I wondered how some positions were even possible *scratches head*

Well the part about the rain was nice.
