Love Me Always

    by Vania D. Akda

Background: What if Terry ran after Candy when they broke up in New York?

"Should I let her go? I know that I can't live without Candy. But..." Terry thought, while looking at Susannah. "Idon't care about her. I love Candy, not her. She saved my life but I don't love her. I should run after Candy."

"Susannah," Terry started to say. "I don't love you. Candy is the one I love, not you. I can't live without her. Please let me go," Terry begged.

Susannah started to cry, but she said, "Fine Terry go after her."

Terry squeezed Susannah hands. "Thank you very much, Susannah. I wish you all the best," he said, then he ran out of the hospital to his beloved Candy.

"It's cold," Candy thought. "I had lost Anthony and now Terry. Oh Terry why do I have to lose everything?" she cried.

Suddenly a voice called her name.

    "Candy!"

"What?" Candy thought. "It can't be Terry."

"Candy, wait up," said that voice again.

Candy turned around and saw Terry running towards her. "What does he want now?" Candy thought. "What do you want?" she asked.

"I just want to talk to you. Let's go to your hotel."

When they arrived in Candy's room, Terry began to speak. "Candy, I want you to go back with me. I want you to love me again. I'm sorry for what I did choosing Susannah over you. It will never happen again. I don't love Susannah. I love you. You're the only person I've ever cared about. Please don't leave me. Stay by my side forever."

Candy gasped in shock. "What do you mean, Terry?" she asked. "What about Susannah? It will break her heart knowing that you won't be by her side," Candy said.

"But Candy, just like I told her, I will never love her. Even if I stay with her I won't be able to get you out of my mind and my heart. I'll always be thinking about you."

Candy couldn't believe what she was hearing. ";Terry, my Terry wants me back," she thought. "Do you really mean it?" She started to cry. "I thought you didn't love me anymore."

"Fool," Terry said with a smile as he wiped away her tears. He took Candy in his embrace and said, "I love you. I always have and I always will." And then Terry kissed her.

After that beautiful night Terry went back to Chicago with Candy. They got married, had two children and they lived happily ever after.
